calendar containing an advent activity for every day in December leading up to Christmas

For the month of December, it has been our tradition to do a daily Advent activity in place of a traditional candy Advent calendar. I was able to complete the project in 8 weeks (it was tight, but we made it!) and over the next few weeks I’m going to recap this project and share some in-depth tutorials for some of the things we did.

We ripped out the old tile and replaced it with a beautiful black and white patterned tile, added a focal wall with vertical shiplap, painted the walls and ceiling, and painted the cabinets. We DIY’d a beautiful gold arched mirror out of the builder mirror which has been my most popular project to date, by far.
