Every year we like to thank our delivery drivers during the holiday season – we literally couldn’t function without them! Whether it’s getting our groceries delivered through Instacart or our local grocery stores, online shopping deliveries or even getting the occasional Door Dash or GrubHub food delivery, I have someone on my doorstep delivering something nearly every day during December.

I am always grateful for them but especially during the holidays, and when it’s extra cold outside, I want to make sure they know how thankful we are with a little thank you snack!
We like to set out a variety of drinks like Gatorade, water and soda as well as a few easy-to-grab snacks like chips and granola bars. This year I even added a few Little Debbies Christmas Tree Snack cakes and they have been the most frequently grabbed food item so far this year!

I’ve used several different displays to set out the snacks but for the past 2 years, this rolling cart has worked by far the best. I will often bring it inside overnight just so things don’t freeze too solid and then put it back out first thing in the morning. We attach a “thank you sign” that I’ve designed on Canva (you can grab yours here to edit for free!) and then I laminate it and hang it on the cart. I’ve owned this laminator for years and I use it so much more than I ever imagined! It’s a must for busy moms!
Every year we include this activity in our Advent calendar for one of the days experiences. We get the snacks, set them out, make the “thank you delivery drivers” sign and put everything on the porch. If you haven’t seen my post about our Advent activity traditions, you can see the whole post and grab 50+ ideas to make your own tradition here!

We have a camera doorbell and it is so fun to see the reactions from the mailman and our delivery drivers! Everyone is always so grateful and often will say “thank you” directly to the camera. I love getting to show those videos to the kids when they get home from school.
Have you ever set out snacks for your delivery drivers? If you have any other creative ways you say thanks to them during the holidays or any other time of year, leave them in the comments below!
